"Waiting On" Wednesday #1

“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine, which spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

Hey guys! Another first meme for me :)

This week's pick would most definitely have to be:

A Night Like This By Julia Quinn
ISBN: 0062072900
Format: Hardcover
Publication date: May 29th 2012
Publisher: Avon Books

Anne Wynter might not be who she says she is...
But she's managing quite well as a governess to three highborn young ladies. Her job can be a challenge— in a single week she finds herself hiding in a closet full of tubas, playing an evil queen in a play that might be a tragedy (or might be a comedy— no one is sure), and tending to the wounds of the oh-so-dashing Earl of Winstead. After years of dodging unwanted advances, he's the first man who has truly tempted her, and it's getting harder and harder to remind herself that a governess has no business flirting with a nobleman.
Daniel Smythe-Smith might be in mortal danger...
But that's not going to stop the young earl from falling in love. And when he spies a mysterious woman at his family's annual musicale, he vows to pursue her, even if that means spending his days with a ten-year-old who thinks she's a unicorn. But Daniel has an enemy, one who has vowed to see him dead. And when Anne is thrown into peril, he will stop at nothing to ensure their happy ending...

Why I can't wait for said book?
Well, I've been in love with every Julia Quinn book out there. Because of her I fell in love with 'Historical Romance' at Regency times. Before that I used to seriously hate the genre, but her style is so captivating and funny yet in my opinion set in the perfect era. The first thing I read for her was 'The Bridgertons' series - though not even the first one, since I apparently didn't know it was a series, I just borrowed it from someone. My favourite book for her would definitely have to be 'To Catch an Heiress'.
The first book in the series had taken so long to come out that I was practically jumping around all the time! Not to mention I lived in Egypt-Kuwait, so for the book to come out here (in Egypt it didn't, I had to wait till I went to Kuwait to buy it) and FINALLY read it. I thought it was really adorable and can't wait till this one is out so I can stop jumping around and finally have a new JQ novel to read.
