Book Tour, Guest Post: Lancaster House

So, today is my Guest Post stop! The Second stop in the Lancaster House tour, so enjoy!

Describe a normal day’s routine. How does it fit in with writing?
It’s an interesting question, one that people often wonder about writers. When you are your own boss, you have to manage your own time. Some might think this is easier, and in many ways it is. However, I tend to expect more of me than any taskmaster ever could! Hence, I work long hours.
My husband says I work swing shift. I tend to stay up late and get up late. It works well for me and my schedule. When I get up, I walk on my treadmill for 40 minutes or so, then clean my house, do my laundry, plan dinner, pay bills, etc. Usually by one ‘o clock, I’m at my computer, ready to begin work. (as if I haven’t worked already!) I work till around 8 or so. Then we crash in front of the TV while we eat dinner and watch one of the many reality TV shows I’m addicted to. After that, I often continue to work on my writing till around two in the morning.
Believe it or not, the writing portion of my day is the most relaxing! I love this quote: Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life. This is what writing feels like to me. It takes me out of my busy life and lets me relax at my computer as I commit my imagination onto paper.  It’s like entering another world.  It’s the easiest part of my day! It is, of course, a lot of work, but it feels easy because I enjoy it!

 Author Bio:

Taylor Dean lives in Texas and is the mother of four grown children. Upon finding herself with an empty nest, she began to write the stories that were always wandering around in her head, quickly finding that she had a passion for writing, specifically romance. Whether it’s paranormal, contemporary, or suspense—you’ll find all sub-genres of romance in her line-up.

My blog is the story of my path to publication. I’m not an expert by any means. However, I’ve learned a lot in the process, and hopefully, what I share with you will help you towards fulfilling your writing dreams. I’ll start at the beginning and work my way to the present day. If you want to learn the entire story, start at the first blog post! Otherwise, join at any time and enjoy the ride! I write in all sub-genres of Romance: suspense, paranormal, and contemporary. My novels are much like Forest’s box of chocolates: you never know what you’re going to get. One thing is certain however, you will always get a healthy dose of CLEAN Romance.
