Review:

This book was one of the most anticipated books this year because I've been ridiculously in love with series since book one. I had never expected to like Sweet Evil, mainly because I didn't know much about it and I've been having a disappointing time with most fallen angel stories, but boy did this one come as so much of a surprise for me.
Also, I fell for Kaidan Rowe. Hard.
Kai was definitely worth it, seeing his character growth from book one, but also the minor quirks that were still there made me love him even more. I also enjoyed Anna's character, but I didn't love her exactly, since I don't believe anyone can be that saintly. Okay fine, maybe it's the half angel part. But still. I still love Kope and Zania and Blake, and ah, you guys, I just love this entire series and everyone and everything.

To those who don't know, this series is about a group of fallen angels who take up particular sins and due to how powerful they are, they can take over human bodies. They're called Dukes, and each of them is in charge of a specific sin they reproduce offspring for the sole purpose of helping them out in doing so. Anna's father, the Duke of substance abuse, has protected her all his life from his sin, but to accomplish the mission he's fighting with a vengeance for, he needs her to start working for him again. Along the way she realizes she's nephilim, and there are others like her. She also has the most ridiculous crush on the hot as hell drummer Kaidan Rowe, who just happens to be the nephilim to teach her all there is to know about their kind. He's also the offspring of the Duke of lust. The problem is, Anna is not just half demon, she's also half angel from her mother's side. Which makes her life a little more complicated. Anna learns that her birth has great significance and that the fate of everyone, especially the neph, is in her hands.

The book takes up from where it left off in Sweet Peril, with stakes so ridiculously high, it was such a nerve wracking journey until the end. So much happens in this book whether it's from the good people's side or the bad people's side. I was on edge the entire story, with so many unexpected developments.

I've honestly been ridiculously wary of trilogy endings lately because most of them have been disappointing. I'm so psyched to say that this book definitely delivers you guys, it's definitely incredible, well written, sexy as hell, heartbreaking and just thrilling to the end. I love this world Wendy has created, and I am sad to see it end. But I'm definitely glad to have picked the first book up and fallen in love with this series. This book will forever be one of my guilty pleasures.

Also, any chance of making Kaidan Rowe real?

Rating: 5/5!
